Arabic Dialects
Speak like a local. Choose Egyptian, Levantine or Gulf Arabic and practice real everyday conversations.
About this course
Arabs speak Fusha in formal settings, but at home, in the market and with friends they speak their dialect. If you want to chat, travel or connect with family, a dialect is what you need.
Choose one of three dialects: Egyptian, the most widely understood thanks to film and TV; Levantine, spoken in Syria, Lebanon, Jordan and Palestine; or Gulf, spoken in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman.
Classes are conversation-first and taught by native speakers of the dialect you choose, so you learn how people really talk.
