01Who we are

Rawi Academy is an online academy offering one-to-one Quran, Arabic and Islamic Studies classes. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it and how we look after it. If you have any questions, email us at [email protected].

02What we collect

When you book a free trial class, we collect the information you enter in the form:

• Your name, email address and WhatsApp number
• Your country and the student's age, if you choose to share them
• The course you're interested in and your preferences for tutor, timing and lesson length
• Any message you write to us

We also record your time zone, detected automatically by your browser, so we can suggest class times that suit you. We don't collect payment details through this website.

03How we use it

We use your information only to:

• Contact you about your free trial class and arrange a suitable time
• Match you with a tutor who fits your needs
• Answer your questions and, if you enroll, organize your classes

We never sell your information, and we never use it for advertising by third parties.

04Where it's stored

This website and its database are hosted by Cloudflare, which processes data on our behalf under strict security standards. Your form details are stored securely and can only be accessed by authorized members of our team. We may also use trusted services, such as email or messaging tools, to notify our team when a new request arrives and to contact you.

05Protecting against spam

To stop automated spam, we keep a scrambled, one-way code made from your IP address when you send the form. It can't be turned back into your IP address and is used only to limit how many requests can be sent from one connection. We may also use Cloudflare Turnstile, a privacy-friendly security check.

06How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as we need it to arrange and provide your classes. If you don't go ahead with classes, or you ask us to, we delete it.

07Referrals

If you request a referral link, we keep your name, email and (if you give it) WhatsApp number so we can connect friends who book with your link to you and arrange your reward. A friend who uses your link sees only your first name. Your referral code is remembered in your friend's browser for up to 30 days.

08Children

Many of our students are children. We ask that a parent or guardian fills in the form on a child's behalf, and we communicate with the parent or guardian about the child's classes.

09Cookies

This website doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider may use strictly necessary cookies or similar technology to keep the site secure and protect it from spam and abuse.

10Your rights

You can ask us at any time to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Just email [email protected] and we'll respond as quickly as we can. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

11Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update it on this page and change the date at the top. Questions? Get in touch.
